The Eco Council is a group of children who have discussions and work together to improve their school or community’s environmental impact. They look for problems like waste, energy use, or pollution and plan ways to fix them. Their goal is to make everyday life greener and more responsible.

They consider ways of ensuring that our school makes good use of resources and take forward plans and activities that contribute to our sustainability efforts. They listen to ideas from others and turn the best ones into real actions. They also encourage everyone around them to care of the planet.

The Eco Council run their own meetings (with a little support from adults) and decide on their own projects. They are passionate about making a difference and inspiring others to join in creating a greener, more sustainable world.
