Behaviour

We take great pride in the behaviour of all our pupils. The emphasis in the school is to praise positive behaviour, attitude and effort and to increase children’s awareness of the need to make a positive contribution to their community. We have a behaviour management policy which is consistently applied by all adults who work in our school and is available on our website. Our behaviour management policy is linked to our Golden Rules which are:

Do be gentle – do not hurt anyone

Do be kind and helpful – do not hurt other people’s feelings

Do work hard – do not waste your or other people’s time

Do look after property – do not waste or damage things

Do listen to people – do not interrupt

Do be honest – do not cover up the truth

Do as requested by staff – do not argue
